The deadline for registration is Thursday September 14th. Please make checks payable to Sandhills SAR and mail to our SAR Treasurer, Ramsey Blanks at: 460 N. Ashe Street, Southern Pines, NC 28387. Be sure to allow time for the mail to arrive.

The Women’s Auxiliary are planning a 50/50 drawing
After dinner we will have an engaging presentation from Victor Burns titled “In Search of My Grandfathers” about the discovery of the Stedman family cemetery and the family’s reinternment.
Victor is employed at Central Electric Membership Cooperative as Director of Technical Services. He has also owned and operated “Carthage Martial Arts Academy” for the last 14 years.
In addition to being the present Genealogist for the Sandhills Chapter of the SAR, Victor is a member of the Moore County Genealogical Society, The NC Genealogical Society and The National Genealogical Society.
