The Seaboard Festival in Hamlet, NC. The Gen. William Henry Harrington DAR Chapter and the Sandhills SAR Chapter will be Co-Sponsors a patriotic booth at this event. This is a Richmond County Chamber of Commerce sponsored event that celebrates the heritage of Hamlet’s Railroad past. We will have a SAR table, with the Sandhills Chapter Banner and flags. This will be a great opportunity for us to meet with the Richmond County public and inform them about the Mission and Principles of the SAR to promote; Patriotism, Preserve American history and Promote education of our future generations.
