Fellow Sandhills Compatriots,
I hope that you all enjoyed our “Constitution Week” Observation Dinner on September 19th at the Pinecrest Inn. Paul Herrington did a great job organizing the arrangements and I know that we all had a great time.
We will be conducting our October Chapter meeting on Tuesday, October 17th, 6:00PM, at the Pinehurst Village Chapter. The September Dinner Mtg Minutes are attached for your review.
We will be holding an election for the candidates of the open Chapter Officer Positions. We need all your votes, please be sure to attend.
2024- 2026 Candidates:

Vice President – COL (Ret) Jonathan Battle
Secretary – Victor Burns
This business meeting will include Mr. Matt Mutarrelli (Gunsmith and local Revolutionary War Firearms Expert) who will present a history program about the local Revolutionary War history (1780 – 1782) with emphasis on the Militia War between the Patriots and Tories.
We will extend an invitation to the local DAR Chapters and Boy Scout Troops.
2024 Dues Season:
Please bring your 2024 SAR Dues Payment.
Our Treasurer, Ramsey Blanks, will be glad to receive you 2024 SAR Dues Checks. Save the price of a stamp.
2024 Dues breakdown is:
National SAR: $50.00, NC State: $20.00, Sandhills Chapter: $20:00
Total Dues $90.00
If you are able, a chapter donation will be appreciated at this time to help fund and support our Patriotic, Veteran programs, Community Service, Youth, House in the Horseshoe Reenactment and SAR Events.
